My name is Melissa (Em to my Mum, Missy to my Dad and Mel to my friends) and I am on a heartstring mission to empower women.
Here I like to create beautiful delicious healthy sugar free recipes, inspire you to live the biggest, best and fullest life possible, share my knowledge and wisdom to help you (yes you gorgeous!) create the life of your dreams. Because why the hell not! I believe that we create our own reality moment by moment. I am a truth seeker, love, spirit and inspiration junkie, organic lifestyle lover, photography wannabe and fashion appreciator who is living her dreams. I wake up each morning with the intention to live from my heart and help others do the same.

But I have to be honest with you, I haven’t always been on this journey. I actually entertained quite a destructive path for many years which looked a lot like this. Running around at a million miles per hour, working way too much, not loving myself at all, I was highly stressed and anxious, I lived off champers, canapés and would get on average four hours sleep a night. It was only a matter of time before my poor, little, exhausted adrenals packed up and went on holidays. Along with adrenal fatigue, thyroid problems, high levels of mercury, serious PMT, depression, loads of mineral deficiencies, adult acne, eczema and a serious case of the cold sore virus all over my face, in my mouth and down my throat, my body was screaming at me to STOP. It was sending me loud, bright red, warning signs that it had had enough. My entire immune system shut down and the severity of the cold sore virus sent me straight to hospital.
Leading up to this event, I spent an extremely long and exhausting year in and out of emergency and the doctor’s office being a pin board and ignoring all the signs to slow down. That week in the hospital was the last straw for me! It was my wake up call. I realized I had to take back control of my health, my life, and my happiness. I realised I was the only person who could do this. I realised I had to stop looking outside of myself to find happiness and started to connect with my inner self, my truth, my spirit, the bigger me.
This is where the magic happens baby!
Throughout my Path to Wellness I realized how out of balance my life was in all areas and how I was always looking externally instead of internally for happiness. I was experiencing extreme emotional highs and lows. I was on a constant roller-coaster ride of sugar highs and lows. This made me realize: If I was feeling like this, how many other people out there must be feeling the same way?
Hence Path to Wellness was born. My goal is to empower you in all areas of your life and to help you fall head over heels back in love with the babe starring back at them in the mirror. How we feed and treat our bodies is a direct reflection of how we are truly feeling about ourselves.
So, my question to you is – do you love yourself?
I sure as hell didn’t! But I learned to fall in love with myself and to feed my mind, my body and my spirit the best, most nourishing things Mother Nature has to offer. Now I want to help you! Yes, you!
I am a fully qualified holistic health and life coach. I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I was trained in over one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalised Path to Wellness that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
